What is vaser vs traditional liposuction and tumescent liposuction?
VASER liposuction uses ultrasound energy to break up fat before removal. Traditional liposuction involves manually loosening fat with a cannula before removal. Dr. Weinbgerg uses tumescent liposuction, which is performed by infusing the area with a solution containing local anesthetic and epinephrine to help reduce bleeding and swelling. He then uses a small cannula to suction away fat. This approach is designed to enhance comfort and support the recovery process.
